Bangladesh beat the Irish bowlers in the second match in a row. Liton Das and Najmul Hossain Shanto got fifty. After that, Mushfiqur Rahim and Tawheed Hriday run rampant.

On the fifth wicket, they made an incredible pair of 128 runs off 78 balls. That pair becomes the basis of a large collection. Mushfiq did the last.

This experienced batsman gave an unbeaten century in 60 balls with 14 boundaries and 2 sixes. This is the record for the fastest century by a Bangladeshi batsman in ODIs.

Bangladesh got the capital of 349 runs for 6 wickets. This is the Tigers’ highest team collection in ODIs. Tamim Iqbal’s team set a record by collecting 338 runs in the previous match, today it was broken.

Irish captain Andrew Balbirnie invited Bangladesh to bat after winning the toss in the second ODI of the series at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das started off well.

They spent 10 overs. In the end, Tamim-Litton’s 42-run partnership was broken in an unfortunate runout. Tamim was just about to be set on the wicket with a hint of good batting. That’s when he made a mistake and fell victim to misfortune.

Bangladesh lost the first wicket in the last ball of the tenth over. Tamim calls Liton to take the run. Mark Adair picks up the ball and throws directly before running for a short run.

The direct throw hits the stumps on the non-striker edge. Tamim still has a long way to go at the crease. The Bangladesh captain returned with 23 runs from 31 balls. In this, he hit 4 boundaries.

Despite being set in the previous match, Liton could not increase the innings. Returned by 26 runs. But this time the dashing opener did not make any mistakes. Lytton completed the eighth half-century of his ODI career by hitting a six, off 53 balls.

Liton and Nazmul Hossain Shanto added 101 runs in 96 balls for the second wicket. Lytton gave away the wicket of Kurtis Kampfer after playing an inning of 70 runs off 71 balls with 3 four-sixes. He returned with an easy catch at midwicket.

17 off 19 balls. Shakib Al Hasan was set on the wicket. But this batsman who was cut in the nineties in the previous match could not increase the innings this time.

Shakib mistimed the ball in the air while picking up Irish pacer Graham Hume. The world’s best all-rounder was caught in the abuse as a top edge. Shanto-Shakib’s 36-ball 39-run partnership broke.

After sending Shakib back, Hume also picked up another set batsman, Shanta, after an over. Shanta was caught behind the wicket after touching the bat as it went out on the leg side. His innings were 73 runs from 77 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.

The Irish fought back a bit by sending Shakib and Shanto back by 8 runs. But Mushfiqur Rahim and Tawhid Hridaya cornered the visitors again in the fifth-wicket pair.

Hridoy made a devastating pair of 128 runs in 13 overs. However, this young man, who was cut in the nineties in the previous match, returned once again with disappointment. Hridoy could not make a fifty for just one run.

He scored 49 off 34 balls with 4 boundaries and 1 six. However, Hriday missed the half-century but Mushfiqur did not miss the century.

Irish pacer Graham Hume took 3 wickets for 58 runs.
