Seeing the way the two teams were batting on a batting-friendly wicket, everyone felt that there was little chance of a result in this Test. Maybe it will be a dead draw. That’s what happened in the end. The final Test of the series between India and Australia ended in a draw at the Motera Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.
India won the series by 2-1 as the last test was drawn. India won the first two Tests. Steven Smith’s team beat the hosts in the third Test in Indore. As Australia showed determination in the last Test, India also fought.
After 2019, Virat Kohli has seen a century in Tests. Based on his innings of 186 runs, India is also riding on the mountain of runs. They were all out by scoring 571 runs.
Australia declared the innings by 175 runs after losing 2 wickets. In other words, Smith set India a target of just 85 runs to win. But only 10 minutes left in the day. As a result the umpires called the two captains. After the issue of time was raised before them, both the captains shook hands and accepted the draw.
