Nigerian forward Victor Osimeh’s brace, along with Piotr Zielinski’s penalty kick, saw Maradona’s former club Napoli reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in their club history, defeating German club Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0.
The residents of Naples welcomed the German club to their home ground on Wednesday night. In the previous match, Napoli had already done the main task of going to the quarters by winning 2-0 in the field of Frankfurt. This time they lost by 3-0 goals. The Italian club advanced to the quarters by winning the two legs with a margin of 5-0 goals.
